Privacy Policy
Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal information when you use our website and services.
1. Information We Collect
- Personal information — your name, email address, billing and shipping address, and payment details when placing an order.
- Non-personal information — browser type, IP address and pages visited, which help us improve the site.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Process and fulfil your orders.
- Communicate with you about your purchase, enquiries or promotions.
- Improve our website, services and product offering.
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We share it with trusted service providers — shipping companies and payment processors — only as far as is necessary to complete your transaction.
4. Cookies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your cart and language preference, and understand site traffic. You can set your browser to refuse cookies, but some features may then not work as intended.
We group them as follows:
- Strictly necessary — signing in, your shopping cart, your chosen language, security checks, and remembering your answer to the cookie banner. These are always set, because the site cannot work without them.
- Analytics — the measurement tools described in section 5 below, including how to opt out of them.
5. Analytics and How We Measure the Site
We use two measurement tools to understand how visitors use our store so that we can improve it:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) — counts visits, records which pages and products are viewed, and records when an order is placed.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) — records anonymised interaction data such as clicks and scrolling, which shows us where pages are confusing or broken.
Your choice
Both tools are active when you arrive, and a small notice on your first visit tells you so. Choosing Turn off stops them and deletes the analytics cookies already set on your device. You can change this at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer — your choice is remembered for six months in a cookie that holds nothing but that preference.
Other ways to opt out
You can also stop this measurement from your own browser:
- Install Google's official Analytics opt-out browser add-on, which stops Google Analytics on every site you visit.
- Opt out of Microsoft Clarity through Microsoft's privacy statement.
- Block third-party cookies, or use your browser's private browsing mode. Most browsers also offer a "Do Not Track" setting and tracking-protection features.
- Write to us using the contact details in section 10 and we will tell you what we hold and remove it where we can.
What we do not do
- We do not use Google's advertising features, Google Signals, ad personalisation or remarketing. Analytics data is used for measurement only.
- We do not send your email address, password-reset links or payment details to either tool. Where such details appear in a web address, they are removed before the address is reported, and session recording is switched off entirely on those pages.
- We do not track our own staff — administrator accounts are excluded from all measurement.
- We do not sell analytics data or combine it with your order history to identify you personally.
Retention
Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then deleted automatically. Microsoft Clarity retains data according to its own published schedule. Both providers may process data outside your country; they act as our processors under their respective data-processing terms.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No method of online transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal requirements.
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link.
8. Third-Party Links
Our website may link to external sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date.
10. Contact Us
